Alston Moor and Eden Dance School offers high quality technical and creative dance training in ballet, tap, modern, street dance and contemporary through weekly classes at Alston, Melmerby and Allendale in Cumbria.
Teaching children from aged 3 upwards we have a welcoming family feel and offer lots of opportunities for performance, achievement, success and fun! The Dance School is run by Alison Horn who has over 20 years experience teaching dance.
We offer students the opportunity to progress through exam and medal tests. Regular performance opportunities are offered locally and nationally as well as summer schools.
Whilst not being a compulsory part of dancing lessons we find them to be an important aid in maintaining motivation among students and enhancing standards of performance and confidence.
